Information Services
Information Services (IS) is a centralized service group collecting data from external sources to provide important security and health information to WebApp instances. Each service has a dedicated role in providing specific information to the WebApps e.g. the NVD service collects data from the National Vulnerability Database.
The current service list:
- NVD service, collects vulnerability data from the National Vulnerability Database.
- OSV service, collects vulnerability data from the Open Source Vulnerability Database.
- Health service, collects health data from various sources.
- Patch service, collects patch data from various sources.
- EP service, collects Exploit Prediction data from the EPSS database.
- KEV service, collects data about known exploited vulnerabilities (hosted by the EP Service).
- Dictionary service, collects data about existing platforms, software, and versions (hosted by the NVD Service).
- CTI service, collects vulnerability threat intelligence data from various sources.
